The Official SpamBack Page
Spam a spammer!
(Mandatory butt-covering actions)
A word of caution: Use SpamBack at your own risk.
While all mail sent through the system will be done so anonymously, we
cannot be held responsible for the content of your messages. Snicker disavows
all liability arising from the use, misuse or abuse of this system. Any
personal information you choose to send will be at your own risk. Furthermore,
we do not officially condone the use of revenge as a method of recourse
against anyone who ticks you off. But if if makes you happy, go for it!
Before you begin composing an inflammitory message
to the spammer, it might be fun to take a look at some sample
messages. Feel free to use any that apply in your message body.
Behind the scenes of Spamback:
When you hit the Send button, the spam message
is sent to the mailbox of Snicker as an anonymous text form. From there
it is converted to a message formatted for Emailing using MAILMAN.BAS :Spamback
module, and a 'Sent by SpamBack (to: firstname.lastname@example.org)' line is appended
to the end of the message. It is then forwarded to Remailer@replay.com
(mail anonymizer), which sends it to its final destination. Your Email
address is saved by neither us nor the remailer, which strips our address
from the headers and replaces it with Remailer's own. Happy flaming!
Message Send verification: By default,
SpamBack does not send a confirmation that the message has been sent. If
you would like confirmation that the SpamBack has been sent to its final
destination, or if it could not be sent for a particular reason, type your
e-mail address in the space provided. Your address is not used for any
other purposes, not sent to the SPAMMER, and not saved by us. This field
is entirely optional.
